Sher – i – Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences invites admission application for Entrance Examination leading to admission in BSc programs for the academic year 2018 – 2019.

SKIMS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam Eligibility 2018

For General Category Candidates :

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination through a recognized Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English having secured 50% and above marks for Open Merit and 40% marks and above for candidates belonging to other reserved categories

SKIMS in – Service Candidates :

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination through a recognized Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English having secured 50% or above marks in aggregate
• Candidate must have worked as Senior Technician / Technician for a period of 05 years in the respective / allied department at SKIMS

Sher – i – Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences BSc Nursing Entrance Exam application form is available in the official website www.skims.ac.in.

Applications on prescribed form complete in all respects, affixed with 5 recent passport size photographs of the candidate ( attested by Gazetted Officer ) accompanied with a demand draft for ₹ 500/- from any branch of J&K Bank ( Non – refundable ) pledged to Financial Advisor & CAO, SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar alongwith attested copies of the certificates should reach office of the Administrative Officer ( ACAD ) SKIMS by or before the last date

SKIMS BSc Nursing Selection Procedure 2018

• The candidates shall have to appear in an entrance examination ( written test ) of 100 minutes duration consisting of one question paper containing 100 objective type ( multiple – choice ) questions in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English of 10+2 level
• To qualify the test, a candidate must have to secure 50% marks and above
• Each question shall carry 1 mark
• In case, any seat remains vacant due to non – availability of candidate( s ) in a particular category including SKIMS in – service candidates, the same shall be filled from amongst the General category candidate ( s ) as per the merit list
