TRPVB ABCEP 2015 Entrance Exam Date : 10th September, 2015.

TRPVB ABCEP 2015 Eligibility

• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply

• Candidates should have a first class post graduate degree either in

• 1. M Sc Animal Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Medical Microbiology or other relevant disciplines
  2. M V Sc Animal / Veterinary Biotechnology or other relevant disciplines
  3. Me / M Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation; Biomedical Engineering; Biotechnology; Food Technology, Genetic Engineering; Materials Science other relevant disciplines.

• 30% of seats will be reserved for biotechnology – industry nominated candidates.

• If there is not enough industry nominated candidates, the seats will be filled from general pool.

TRPVB ABCEP 2015 Mode of Selection

• One hundred applications will be shortlisted for the written examination.
• The shortlisting will be based on the proportional representation of applications received from each of the academic stream.

• The shortlisted candidates will be called for a written examination of one hour duration consisting of Multiple Choice / Objective Questions on the field of biotechnology, general aptitude and general knowledge.

• Twenty five candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on the written examination scores.

• Personal Interview will focus to evaluate the subject, practical lab skills, aptitude, communication skills and previous research experience of the candidates.

• The final selection will be based on the interview performance

TRPVB ABCEP 2015 Application Procedures

• The call for ABCEP training program will be advertised in national newspapers and website ( TRPVB ABCEP )

• The candidates should apply in the prescribed from ( also downloadable from TRPVB website : www.trpvb.org.in ) along with the attested copies of their certificates

• An application fee of rupee five hundred ( ₹ 500/- ) should be attached in the form of a demand payable to Director, TRPVB, payable at Chennai.

• Date of TRPVB Entrance Examination : 10th September, 2015

• Date of commencement of TRPVB course : 01st October, 2015
