ASRB ARS NET Entrance Exam 2012
Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board ( ASRB ) invites application for admission to the NET Examination 2012 which will be held on 24th February, 2013 at 33 centres across the country as per rules of the examination. The rules of the examination are given. The candidates must read the rules of the examination carefully before filling up the application form.
NET is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities ( SAUs ) and other Agricultural Universities ( AUs ). Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Test will be eligible for Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs / AUs. NET Certificates will be issued to the candidates by the ASRB to the qualified candidates to enable them to apply against vacancies to be notified or advertised by the State Agricultural Universities. SAUs / AUs will consider their eligibility through interview or any such other tests as devised for recruitment of Lecturers or Assistant Professors.
ASRB NET Educational Qualification 2012
A candidate must bave a Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned subject with specialization completed on or before 31st October, 2012. The list of disciplines and its prescribed educational qualifications are given :

ASRB NET Age Limit 2012
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 01st August, 2012. There is no upper age limit for the National Eligibility Test.
