The wards / dependents of the following category of Army personnel are eligible :
Children of serving (10 Years continuous service in the Army) / Retired Army personnel (Submit Certificate No 1).
Army personnel killed in action or those who died during their service or disabled in action in Army (Submit Certificate No 2).
AMC / ADC officers presently serving with Navy or Air Force who have served in the Army for more than 10 Years and who are members of AOBF (Submit Certificate No 3).
MNS officers who have served Army for a minimum 10 Years as regular MNS; APS personnel who are on deputation and have put in more than 10 Years of service in Army or who have been directly recruited / commissioned in APS and have retired after completing their minimum service qualifying for pension; TA personnel who have completed 10 Years of embodied service (Submit Certificate No 4).
Adopted wards of Army personnel provided they have been adopted at least 5 Years before admission (Submit Certificate No 5).
Dependent sons / daughters of widows / war widows of Army personnel who were born of their mother's first marriage and their mother has later re - married a civilian (Submit Certificate No 6).
Step children of Army personnel who were born out of the wedlock where at least one parent belonged to Army (Submit Certificate No 7).
Note :
For the purpose of their admission to the B. Ed course the sons / daughters of serving / retired Army personnel are considered dependent till their marriage or employment whichever is earlier.
AWES CWAT 2010 Eligibility Conditions :
All candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria given below :
1. AWES CWAT 2010 Educational Qualifications :
A graduation degree under (10+2+3) system or graduation degree under old (14 Years) system before 1991 with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate of degree examination. However candidates having 45% aggregate marks may apply subject to relaxation being accorded by GNDU, Amritsar for session 2010 - 2011 before counselling. (or)
MA / MSc / MCom / MSc (Hons.
School) degree of a recognized
University with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. (or)
Diploma in Rural Service (3 Year course) under (10+2+3) system awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education, Ministry of Education, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. (or)
Any other qualification recognized as equivalent to any of (i), (ii) and (iii) above.
Note : Graduates through Gianni / Prabhakar shall not be eligible.
2. AWES CWAT Age Limit : There is no upper age limit for B.Ed Course.
Note : AWES CWAT 2010 eligibility conditions may change subject to the decision of the affiliating university.

All merit listed / wait listed applicants, desirous of seeking admission in AIHE must register themselve as per the date given above. Registered Applicants only will be entertained for counselling.
CWAT 2010 Registration fee will be refunded in full to those applicants whose name do not figure in counselling list.
