National Entrance Test-2006

Applications are invited from the young Indian Nationals wishing to pursue study of Law and Legal processes and develop skills in advocacy in Judicial and other legal services for admission through merit in the Entrance Test to be held on 23-7-06 to the first batch of B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and B.Sc LL.B (Hons) (five year integrated law courses) starting from Aug 2006 in the institute.

Eligibility and Age:

Students who have passed Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent Examination from a University/recognized Board with 50% marks (for SC/ST 45%) or have appeared in 10+2 Examination in March-April 2006 and is of maximum 20 years of age (for SC/ST 22 years) on 01-07-2006 are eligible to appear in the Entrance Test.

Seats and Reservation:

Number of seats is Eighty only are available, Reservation shall be given to O.B.C./SC/ST Candidates of Uttar Pradesh as per State Govt. Rules. The OBC/SC/ST Candidates of other states shall be treated as General candidates.

 

Application Form and Examination Centres:

Application form along with prospectus can be obtained from any of the following Branches of Bank of Baroda on payment of Rs.511 (Rs.500+Rs.11 Bank Charge), from 19-6-06 up to 8-7-2006. It is proposed to conduct the Entrance test in the cities mentioned against the name of the Bank Branches given below.

Tondon Road, Allahabad; Kempa Gauda Road, Bangalore; Hamidia Road, Bhopal; 17-B Sector, Chandigarh; EC Street, Chennai; Con.Circus, New Delhi; Abid Circle, Hyderabad; Sotji Gate, Jodhpur; Fazalganj, Kanpur; DumDum-2, Pollok Avenue, Kolkata; Cantt Road, Lucknow; Begam Bridge, Meerut; Fort University, Mumbai and Gurudham Colony, Varanasi

If sufficient applications are not received for a centre, the Institute reserves the right to transfer the students for the Test at the nearest available centre.

How and Whom to Send Applications:

Duly filled in applications addressed to the registrar, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Rastriya Vidhi Sansthan, Sector D-1. L.D.A., Kanpur Road Scheme, Lucknow must reach by Registered/Speed Post on or before 10th July 2006. The applications brought in person shall not be accepted.

Applications received after the last date will be rejected. The Institute will not be responsible for any delay.

All correspondence relating to the entrance should be made to the Registrar, (Nodal Agency, RMLRVS), CSJM University, Kanpur only.
