IIITM-K Entrance Exam 2021

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into MSc and MPhil courses through entrance examination for the academic session 2021.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Eligibility 2021

M.Sc ( Computer Science )

• Qualifying Exam : Passed the bachelors degree in any disciplines of engineering / Technology / science with mathematics.
• Minimum Marks : Secure at least 60% marks or CPI / CGPA of 6.5 or above in 10 points in the above qualifying marks.
• For M.Sc ( Geo-spatial Analytic ) course, candidates must pass above qualifying exam or graduation in Geosciences specialization.
• Appearing Candidates can also apply.
• GATE / CUSAT CAT score holders are exempted from the test.

M.Phil ( Ecological Informatics )

• Qualifying Exam: Passed M.Sc in Natural Sciences ( Botany, Environmental Science, Zoology & Plant Science ) or Physical Sciences.
• Appearing Candidates are also eligible.
• GATE / NET / CUSAT CAT score holders are exempted from the test.

M.Phil ( Computer Science )

• Qualifying Exam: Passed M.Tech / M.Sc / MCA ( Computer Science / Information Technology / Computational Science / Electronics / Geo-informatics ) having a minimum of three papers in Computer Science/Information Technology in the qualifying exam.
• Minimum Marks: Score at least 60% aggregate marks, or CGPA of above 6.5 in 10 points, or equivalent.
• Appearing Candidates can also apply.
• GATE / NET / CUSAT CAT score holders are exempted from the test.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Pattern 2021

• Exam Mode : The examination will be organized through online mode.
• Type of Questions : In the examination, total 60 multiple choice questions will be asked.
• Marks : The question paper will be of 60 marks.
• Duration : The exam duration will be one hour.
• Subjects : The questions will be asked from General Science, General Knowledge, English & Reasoning, Mathematics & Fundamentals of Computer.
• Marking Scheme : For the correct answer, one mark will be allotted to the candidates.
• Negative Marking : There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Application Form 2021

How to apply

• Candidates will get the application only through online mode on the official website  www.iiitmk.ac.in.
• IIITM Kerala Online Registration will be started from the second week of January 2021.
• Candidates should read all the instructions carefully before submitting the application.
• If candidates want to apply for more than one course, then they have to fill the separate application form.
• Candidates have to submit the printout copy of the filled application with a photograph pasted in the form & DD at the given address

Application fee

• Candidates can submit the fee through online ( via debit card, credit card, net banking or IMPS ) or offline ( DD ) mode.
• The DD will be made in favour of Director IIITM-K, Technopark payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
• The application fee details are given below
  • General – ₹1000/-.
  • SC / ST – ₹500/-.
  • NRI / Foreign National – ₹5000/- or US $ 100.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Admit Card 2021

• The university will release the IIITM Kerala 2021 admit card in the first week of June 2021.
• Candidates will download the IIITM Kerala hall ticket through online mode.
• No admit card will be issued by the university through offline mode or by post or courier.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Selection Process 2021

• After qualifying ITCAT exam, candidates have to the qualify interview round under the supervision of CUSAT.
• On the day of the interview, candidates have to verify their documents in original.
• The final admission will be done on the basis of written & interview rounds.
• The admission into M.Sc courses will also be done by GATE or CUSAT CAT score.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Syllabus 2021

• The syllabus will be comprised of following subjects, i.e. General Knowledge, General Science, Mathematics, English & Reasoning & Fundamentals of Computer.
• There will be no specified syllabus for the examination.

IIITM-K Entrance Exam Results 2021

• Candidates will check their results on the official website through online mode.
• IIITM Kerala 2021 result will be declared in the last week of June 2021.
• Candidates, those pass the written test, they will be called for the interview round.
• The university will release separate rank list for ITCAT, ITRAT, GATE qualified candidates.
