JNU CEEB Eligibility 2019

M.Tech Biotechnology

  • Candidates must have pursued BE / B.Tech program in the relevant subject / trade. or
  • Candidates who have done B.Pharm are also eligible to pursue the M.Tech program. or
  • Candidates with M.Sc degree in the relevant subject are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with at least 60% marks.
  • Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for the M.Tech Biotechnology program.

MSc Biotechnology / MSc ( Agri-Biotechnology )

  • Candidates must be a graduate in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Agriculture and Veterinary Science.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in the exam.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply

MVSc

  • Candidates must be a graduate in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Agriculture and Veterinary Science.
  • Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks in the exam.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply

JNU CEEB Exam Pattern 2018

M.Tech Biotechnology

  • The question paper will be divided into two parts one part will comprise of Technology Stream questions and Second Part will comprise of Life Science Stream Questions.
  • Total 3-hour time duration will be given to attempt the exam.
  • The difficulty level will be as follows:

MVSc / M.Sc (Agriculture Biotechnology) / M.Sc Biotechnology

  • The question paper will consist of two parts; Part A and Part B.
  • The questions in both the parts will be Multiple Choice Questions.
  • There will be total 60 questions in Part A.
  • All the questions in Part A will be of one mark.
  • For every incorrect response candidates will lose 1/2 marks.
  • There will be 100 questions in Part B.
  • Candidates have to attempt at least 60 marks.
  • The questions in Part B will be of 3 marks.
  • The time duration of Part B will be 3 hours.
  • For each incorrect response candidates will lose one mark.

JNU CEEB Application Form 2018

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Biotechnology Entrance Exam application form is available in the official website: www.jnu.ac.in
  • Click on JNU CEEB link given on the Homepage.
  • Now, click on the registration form.
  • Fill Name, Date of Birth, Contact Number, E-Mail Address, Nationality, Access Code.
  • After that, click on Submit button.
  • Candidates will have to log in to the fill the application form now.
  • Now, candidates have to fill personal and academic details on the application form.
  • Now, candidates have to upload digital images of Signature & Photograph to the application form
  • Now, candidates have to pay the application fee.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee via credit card / debit card or net banking.
  • Candidates should take a print out of the application form for further use.

JNU CEEB Admit Card 2018

  • Admit Card is an important document to be carried on the day of examination. Without the admit card entry in the examination hall will not be allowed. It act as an identity proof of the candidate.
  • Candidates can download their admit card from the official website: www.jnu.ac.in
  • Click on the link ‘Admit Card’
  • Provide the required information like registration number, name and date of birth, etc.
  • Take print out of the Admit Card and preserve it for future references.
  • Candidates should check the following information on Admit Card before taking the print out.

    • Address
    • Contact Details
    • Examination Centre
    • Timing of the Exam

JNU CEEB Result 2018

  • Candidates can check their result online from the official website of JNU. Successful candidates will be called for counselling process.
  • Candidates must preserve their Result for further process.
    • Visit the official website: www.jnu.ac.in
    • Click on the link of Result
    • Provide the credentials like roll number and date of birth in the given space
    • Click on button ‘Submit’
    • Download the result and take print out.

JNU CEEB Counselling 2018

  • Counselling process will begin after the declaration of JNU CEEB 2019 result. In counselling process candidates will be allotted seats in the desired courses on the basis of their result. Candidates should take all the original documents on the day of counselling process.
  • Documents required on the day of counselling process
    • Two self – attested copies of matriculation certificate
    • Two self – attested copies of 10+2 certificate
    • Two self – attested copies of institution last attended
    • Character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended
    • Two self – attested certificate of statement of marks obtained in senior school and Bachelor degree program
    • SC / ST / OBC Certificate if applicable
    • A Medical Certificate for PWD Candidates certifying that the disability is not less than 40%
    • Migration Certificate ( in original ) from the Head of the Institution / University last attended
