Diploma Courses:

(Subject to Approval by Academic Council and Executive Council)

  • Two Year Post Graduate Diploma In Hindi-Chinese
  • Two Year Graduate Diploma In Hindi-Japanese
  • Two year Graduate Diploma In Hindi-Spanish
  • Two Year Graduate diploma In Hindi-French

For Admission to the M.A. courses, the candidate should have 50% marks at graduation level in any discipline.

For admission to the M.Phil and Ph.D. Courses, the candidates should have 55% marks in the concerned Master Degree. Applicants should have sufficient knowledge in Hindi. The relaxation in marks obtained at Graduation/P.G. level and reservation in seats will be followed in the admission for SC/ST, OBC, Physically Challenged, Kashmiri migrants, foreign students. Students from North-Eastern region and such other reserved category of applicants as per the Central University rules. The students appearing for the final year Degree and PG examinations may also apply.

For admission in the above mentioned courses except Ph.D. the University will conduct a written test at the following centers-Wardha, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Guwahati. All selected candidates in written test will be called for an interview at Wardha. If the numbers of applicants are less than the required number at any center, the candidates of such centers will have to appear for the written test at Wardha or at any other center as directed by the University.

The prospectus along with the application form may be obtained by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- (including postal expenses) payable at ‘Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidhyalaya, Wardha’ at the address given below or by paying cash of Rs. 200/-. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST & physically challenged categories may obtain the form by sending a demand draft of Rs. 150/- (including postal expenses) or by paying a cash of Rs. 100/- at the University cash counter. The application form is also available on University

While submitting the download application form, candidates should enclose a DD of Rs.200/- and those belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST & Physically challenged only) should enclose a DD of Rs. 100/- only. The applicants are advised to send application form through Registered Post with AD., clearly mentioning the name of the course applied for, on the top of envelope in bold letters or submit the application in person on all working days of the University office.
