Entrance test for Applicants who do not have GATE Scores
Courses: Designed by IIT Madras and BHEL to enhance the skill set of young engineers in line with the expectations of modern engineering industry and conducted at SAEIT established in 2002 in BHEL’s township of Tiruchirappalli.
Faculty: Professors from IIT Madras handle theoretical courses. Project work and labs under the guidance of BHEL engineers.
Eligibility: B.E./ B. Tech degree with minimum 60% overall total marks/ no. Of semesters).

Curriculum: CE-CFD, FEM, Continuum Mechanics, Ht Exchanger /Pressure Vessel Design.

Entrance test: At IIT Madras on Aug 4, 2006 followed by interviews for short-listed applicants.
