VIT Admissions MCA / M.Tech Programmes 2006-07:

Vellore Institute of Technology admission to MCA / M.Tech. Programmes (2006-2007). Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination to be held on 21 st May 2006 (Sunday).

Admission to the M.Tech programmes will be on the basis of entrance exam marks.

  • Eligibility: A pass in the qualifying Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Candidates with valid gate scores are exempted from appearing for the entrance examination.

The application form can be obtained from

  • VIT website: www.vit.ac.in . The form can be downloaded and submitted to the Admissions Officer, VIT, Vellore, along with a Demand Draft for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of 'Vellore Institute of Technology', payable at Vellore.
The Head Post Offices of Allahabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune And Vellore, by cash payment of Rs.800/-.
VIT- by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.800/- drawn in favour of “Vellore Institute of Technology”, payable at Vellore, to the Admissions Officer with full address of the applicant.

Candidates appearing for final examination in April / May 2006 can also apply.

Few seats are reserved for the eligible candidates for M.Tech. Degree programmes sponsored by research organisations / industries.

Allahabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune & Vellore.

Issue of application forms from : 15-02-2006

Last date of receipt of application: 05-05-2006
