Biography of Chhattisgarh Governor – E.S.L. Narasimhan
E.S.L. Narasimhan is the third governor of the state of Chhattisgarh of India.
Ekkadu Srinivasan Lakshmi Narasimhan is the present Governor of Chhattisgarh state of India and is the third governor of Chhattisgarh.
He accomplished graduation in Physics from Madras University. From then on he completed post graduation in Political Science.
For his outstanding performance in the post graduation he was conferred Gold medal. He had also done L.L.B from the Madras Law University.
He is married to Smt Vimala Narasimhan. In 1968, Shri Narasimhan joined Indian Police Service (I.P.S). He was promoted as the Andhra Pradesh cadre.
As Special Director he served in Intelligence Bureau and afterward he served as Chief of the Bureau after the retirement of the former chief Ajith Kumar Doval. Before he retired, he held office for tenure of almost 10 months.
He also served in the Ministry of External Affairs and became the First Secretary in the Moscow Embassy during 1981-84. He is an alumni of National Defense College Delhi.
