Mahavir Prasad is an Indian Politician who is endlessly attempting for the up liftment of the oppressed people.
Mahavir Prasad is an Indian politician, member of Indian 14th Lok Sabha, presently served as the cabinet minister in the Ministry of small Scale Industries and Ministry of Agro and Rural Industries. He stood for the 2004 Lok Sabha on the Congress ticket from Bansgaon.
Mahavir Prasad was born on 11th November 1939. He started his public and political life with active participation in Panchyati Raj Institutions and infrastructural units of democracy; demonstrated his political and administrative skills in organization and administration of these institutes.
Mahavir Prasad is endlessly striving to provide social justice to the oppressed sections of society through education, and also tries to promote women`s up liftment.
Mahavir Prasad is continuously in the process for communal harmony and national integration. He is currently engaged in furthering ancient Indian ideals and cultural heritage.
Mahavir Prasad is working nonstop on eradicate illiteracy from the society, protecting environment through afforestation. He is also advocating for the control of population explosion by way of lectures, education organized in Haryana and the rest of the country.
Mahavir Prasad holds the post of President of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Institute. All India Scheduled Castes Council in Amritsar conferred Babu Jagjivan Ram Award to him of 1996-97 on 1 August 1996. He donated the cash amount of the award to Baba Bhimrao Amebedkar Memorial Institute.
Mahavir Prasad is a firm believer in the ideals, principles and policies of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram. He is effortlessly engaged in the task of nation building by harmonizing the ideologies of past leaders.
Mahavir Prasad has also worked as a lecturer at Gandhi Inter College, Mahnapur, Gorakhpur and taught there for 34 years. He has been served as Chairman, District Social Welfare Committee in 1963.
