S.S. Palanimanickam (born 15 August 1950) is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Thanjavur constituency of Tamil Nadu and is a member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) political party.

Social and Cultural Activities
General-Secretary, All India Peace and Solidarity, Tamil Nadu Unit; working for the upliftment of weaker sections of the society by providing them facilities such as schools, medical camps, drinking water and link roads etc.
Special Interests Rural education and upliftment of the rural youth.
Led a delegation of students to the then U.S.S.R. for attending youth festival; attended SAARC Parliamentarians Conference, Bangladesh; visited Egypt and South Africa as member of Indian Parliamentary Delegation during 13th Lok Sabha; and visited Arab Countries as member of Peace Delegation in 2004.
