Estrous Cycle in Humans
Estrous cycle is a series of cyclic changes in the female reproductive tracts of non primates like cows, dogs, etc.
Blood does not flow in this cycle as the broken endometrium is reabsorbed.
At the time of ovulation sexual urge increases due to rising level of estrogen. This is called period of heat.
Female permits copulation only during estrous period.
Amniocentesis Test : A technique to detect the chromosomal abnormalities, if any, in the developing foetus by analyzing the cells present in the amniotic fluid.
It is usually done between 15 and 17 weeks gestation.

Surrogate motherhood is a by – product of the artificial insemination.
Surrogate motherhood means that a woman allows a fertilized ovum of another couple to be injected into her womb.
Then she carries the child to its full term for the other couple.
This procedure of human reproduction is adopted when a women has a problem in carrying her child to its full term.
