Admission
Admission to the First Year of the 5-year Program is made strictly on merit on the basis of an All India Entrance Test, usually held in January.
Course Structure
NUJS offers two integrated five- year courses, a BA, LLB (Hons) degree course and a BSc LLB (Hons) degree course. Admission to the university is through a nationally conducted admission test that is conducted in different cities usually on the last Sunday of January every year. To be eligible for admission students must have completed 10 + 2 level or equivalent school education with at least 50 per cent marks and should be below the age of 21 years on the 31st December. Students who are currently preparing for their twelfth- standard school examination on the year of admission can also appear in the test. Every year is 80 students are admitted into the university. Out of these, 10 seats are reserved for SC /ST and disabled students and 10 seats are reserved for foreign/ NRI students. The annual tuition fee is Rs 35000.
The post-graduate courses offered by the University include a two-year LLM Degree, a research-based one-year MPhil Degree and PhD/ LLB programmes.
