CLAT 2013 Application Form

Mode of obtaining CLAT 2013 Application Form

• Printed CLAT OMR Application Forms along with the CLAT 2013 Information Brochure will be made available at the designated branches ( refer CLAT Website www.clat.ac.in ) of the State Bank of India ( SBI ) and in all the participating NLUs mentioned above against payment of 3000/- only ( 2500/- in case of SC / ST candidates on submission of proof ) excluding the bank charges.
• For purchasing CLAT Application Form from the designated branches of SBI, fees can be paid through a ‘Challan’ by furnishing the required information about the candidate as specified in the ‘Challan’ form. For purchasing CLAT Application Form from the participating NLUs, the candidates can make payment either through ‘Cash’ or ‘Demand Draft’ drawn in favour of the Registrars of the concerned NLUs to be payable at the respective cities of their location.
• CLAT 2013 Application Form and Information Brochure can also be procured through registered / speed post by sending a requisition letter ( with Father’s Name, Contact Numbers, detail Mailing Address and PIN Code ) to the following address :

  Hidayatullah National Law University,
  Post – Uparwara, Abhanpur,
  New Raipur – 493 661 ( Chhattisgarh ).

• Candidates send along with a Demand Draft of 3100/- ( 2600/- in case of SC / ST candidates ) drawn in favour of “Registrar, HNLU – CLAT 2013 A/C” to be payable at Raipur ( Chhattisgarh ). 3100.00/ 2600.00 includes an additional amount of 100.00 being charged for sending the Application Form and Information Brochure through Speed / Registered Post.
• Candidates can also apply CLAT Online by visiting and following the instructions given in the CLAT Website www.clat.ac.in. The online payment for applying for CLAT 2013 can be made through net – banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In case of online application, the candidates will have to bear the additional transaction costs for remitting the fees online through payment gateways.
• Old Question Booklets for UG as well as PG courses will be available at the designated branches of SBI and participating Universities / Institutes including the organizing university ( i.e. HNLU, Raipur ) at a cost of 200/- per booklet.
• The Question Booklets will also be made available on the CLAT Website www.clat.ac.in and can be downloaded by making online payment of 200/- through net banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In addition to making online payment of 200/-, the applicant will have to bear the bank transaction cost for remitting the charges online. In case, the question papers are sent on request through registered / speed post, the candidates will have to bear an additional cost of 100/- towards the postage charges.

Mode of Applying CLAT 2013 Application Form

• Duly filled in CLAT OMR Application Form along with a copy of the Bank Challan / Cash Receipt / Demand Draft can be submitted to the Convener, CLAT 2013, either in person ( from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on all working days ) or through registered / speed post so as to reach on or before 30th March, 2013 05:00 p.m.
• The relevant certificates / documents in support of one’s claim for admission are not to be submitted along with the Application Form. The original certificates / documents ( as indicated in the OMR Application Form and specified in the CLAT 2013 Information Brochure ) issued by competent authority are to be submitted to the allotted University / Institute only at the time of admission.
• The address for sending the filled – in CLAT 2013 Application Form is :

• As the Hidayatullah National Law University is located 30 kms away from the main city of Raipur and the courier services are not up to the mark, the candidates are advised not to send their applications through courier.
• Application for CLAT 2013 can also be made through online including online payment of application fees and uploading of the passport size ( 3.5 x 4.5 ) photograph and scanned copy of the signature through electronic mode. Candidates applying online must visit and carefully read the instructions given in the CLAT 2013 Website www.clat.ac.in. The online payment can be made through net – banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In case of online application, the candidates will have to bear the additional transaction costs for remitting the fees online through payment gateways.

Note : Incomplete application or application received after the last date shall not be considered. University shall not be responsible for any postal / courier delay.

CLAT 2013 Online Admit Card

The Applicants for CLAT 2013 who fail to receive their Admit Cards sent by speed post can use this CLAT 2013 Online Admit Cards after getting it authenticated by the Centre Superintendent of the concerned Test Centre to which the candidate is allotted. This can be done one day before the Coomon Law Admission Test 2013, i.e. on 11th May, 2013 and also on the day of the CLAT 2013 Entrance Test from 11.00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

1.	Publication of CLAT Advertisement	a. 1st January, 2013 ( Tuesday ) b. Subsequently at regular intervals
2.	Date of Commencement of Sale of CLAT Application Forms ( Specified Branches of SBI & CLAT 2013 Member NLUs )	15th January, 2013
3.	Last Date for submission of filled - in CLAT Application Forms	30th March, 2013 ( Saturday ) by 5:00 p.m.
4.	Dispatch of CLAT Admit Cards / Hall Tickets	Up to 13th April, 2013 ( Saturday )
5.	Date of Common Law Admission Test ( CLAT ) – 2013	12th May, 2013 ( Sunday ) 03:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
6.	Date of Declaration of Results	31st May, 2013 ( Friday )
7.	Issue of First Provisional Allotment List along with Waiting List	2nd June, 2013 ( Sunday )
8.	Last Date for Fee - deposit with CLAT Office by the candidates of the First Provisional Allotment List and Waiting List to reserve their seats in respective Universities	7th June, 2013 ( Friday ) by 4:00 p.m.
9.	Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University	7th June, 2013 ( Friday ) by 4:00 p.m.
10.	Publication of Actual Allotment List of the candidates allotted to various Universities against First Provisional Allotment List	10th June, 2013 ( Monday )
11.	Issue of Second Provisional Allotment List	11th June, 2013 ( Tuesday )
12.	Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University	13th June, 2013 ( Thursday ) by 4:00 p.m.
13.	Publication of Actual Allotment List of candidates allotted to various Universities against the Second Provisional Allotment List	15th June, 2013 (Saturday)
14.	Issue of Third Provisional Allotment List	16th June, 2013 ( Sunday )
15.	Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University	18th June, 2013 ( Tuesday ) by 4:00 p.m.
16.	Publication of Actual Allotment List of candidates allotted to various Universities against the Third Provisional Allotment List	19th June, 2013 ( Wednesday )
17.	Issue of Fourth Provisional Allotment List along with Waiting List, if any	20th June, 2013 ( Thursday )
18.	Completion of admission formalities at University level by submitting required certificates/documents and the balance amount of fees by candidates who would have deposited fees against 1st, 2nd and 3rd Provisional Allotment List	24th June, 2013 – 27th June, 2013 ( Monday – Thursday )
19.	Last Date for Withdrawal of Candidature for Admission from CLAT Office	27th June, 2013 ( Thursday ) by 4:00 p.m.
20.	Last Date for Fee-deposit with CLAT Office by the candidates of Fourth Allotment List and Waiting List, if any, to reserve their seats in respective Universities	27th June, 2013 ( Thursday ) by 4:00 p.m.
21.	Last Date for exercising the option to remain with and take admission in the allotted University	27th June, 2013 ( Thursday ) by 4:00 p.m.
22.	Submission of Detail Report by Member NLUs to the CLAT Convener regarding the vacancies, if any, caused due to the non - reporting of candidates for completing the admission formalities	28th June, 2012 ( Friday )
23.	Publication of Actual List of candidates allotted to various Universities against the Fourth Provisional Allotment List	29th June, 2013 ( Saturday )
24.	Closure of Admission Process by CLAT Office	29th June, 2013 ( Saturday )
25.	Completion of Admission Formalities at the University level by submitting required certificates/documents and the balance amount of fees by candidates who would have deposited fees against the Fourth Provisional Allotment List	5th July, 2013 – 6th July, 2013
