The request must contain the name, telephone number and full postal address (with PIN CODE) of the requesting party and also mention the name of the course for which admission is sought.

Note: The college admits new students ONLY to the FIRST year of the degree or diploma courses.

ILS 2008 Application Procedure:

The procedure for applying for admission is as follows:

1. Candidates must obtain the prospectus and admission formbefore the last date as published in the admissions timetable.

2. Candidates must submit duly filled admission form along with all required documents before the last date as published in the admissions timetable.

3. The college publishes the first merit list. This list is put up on the Web site as well as on the college notice boards.

4. Interviews are held on the basis of the first merit list and admissions granted to candidates who meet all requirements.

5. Selected candidates must pay the admission fees in cash on the same day after the interview and confirm the admission.

6. A second merit list is published subsequent to the completion of the first round, followed by interviews and admissions.

7. If required, a third round may also be conducted.

After each merit list is published, candidates can submit objections (regarding category of admission and position in the merit list) in writing (fax 020-5658865; e-mail ilslaw@vsnl.com) before the prescribed date. Admission is not guaranteed merely because any student's name appears in the merit lists. All particulars in the form and all documents in original are liable for scrutiny at the interviews, before a student can be admitted to the course. All merit lists are subject to correction/amendment on account of valid objections received.

Note: Any attempt by any candidate or anyone else on his behalf to influence the admission process directly or indirectly, would be treated as a disqualification for admission.
