NLU Jodhpur Admission Eligibility 2017

NLU LLB Admission Eligibility 2017 :

  1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with the minimum of :
    • Forty-five percent ( 45% ) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved / OBC / ( Specially Abled Persons ) Categories and
    • Forty percent ( 40% ) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST Category
  2. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April / May 2017 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2017 examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
  3. No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT 2017.

NLU LLM Admission Eligibility 2017 :

  • LL.B. or equivalent degree in law examination with a minimum of 55% marks in case of Unreserved / OBC / ( Specially abled persons ) categories and 50% marks in case of SC / ST category.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March / April 2017 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT 2017 examination. However they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination in the respective National Law Universities at the time of admission failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
  • No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT 2017.

NLU Jodhpur Admission 2017 Intake 

UG Admission Intake :

The intake capacity of all the two undergraduate degree programmes ( B.B.A., LL.B. ( Hons ),  B.A., LL.B. ( Hons ), put together is 100 students + 15 ( NRI ) / NRI Sponsored. ). In case of admission under NRI / NRIs sponsored category, a candidate has to apply as a NRI / NRIs sponsored candidate in CLAT form. After publication of CLAT-2017 result, CLAT-2017 Office will publish the merit list of NRI / NRIs sponsored candidates and from that merit list application shall be invited for admission which shall be made strictly on the basis of aforesaid merit list.

Physically Handicapped

  • 3% seats in each category are reserved for physically challenged students.
  • Candidates seeking admission in NLU, Jodhpur can opt from either of 2 streams namely B.A. and B.B.A.
  • Minimum of 20 students will be required for offering any of the streams i.e. B.A. and B.B.A.  on the basis of CLAT merit.
  • The option exercised by the students will not be changed in any circumstance, except for the administrative reason as reproduced in Clause-(iv).
  • If a stream is not offered due to lack of number of students, students opting for that particular stream will be transferred to the other stream on the basis of available seats.

Note : The number of vacant seats may vary depending upon the withdrawals of admitted students from the programme. The seats will be allotted as per the CLAT – 2017 Rank & the available vacancies only.

NLUO 2017 Application Form

The candidates who have appeared in CLAT-2017 under any category and their names are reflected in the CLAT-2017 Merit List, desirous to take admission in the B.A.LL.B. ( HONS.) /B.B.A.LL.B.( HONS. )  / LL.M. programme at NLU, Odisha, should make an application expressing their interest in seeking admission in the Prescribed Format and submit through email ( scanned copy of application)  at admissions2017@nluo.ac.in latest by 05:00 p.m. on 8th July, 2017

The interested candidates need to deposit an application fee of Rupee 1000/- ( Rupees One Thousand Only) through SBI collect. The application form fee will be nonrefundable and non-adjustable in any case.
