CET Law 2009 Exam Pattern

The Entrance Test shall be conducted on July 04, 2009 (Saturday) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The result of the Entrance Test shall be valid for the purpose of admission only for the academic year 2009-10.

The merit of each candidate shall be determined on the basis of marks secured by him or her in the Entrance Test.

The Entrance Test will consist of a single booklet containing 300 objective type questions. Duration of the test will be three hours in a single sitting. The candidate is to select one correct answer and mark it by shading the corresponding circle on the OMR sheet with only DARK BLACK INK (PEN/SKETCH PEN).

There will be no additional paper for candidates opting for B.A., LL.B. (Hons. School) course. The choice regarding the course shall be asked for at the time of counselling.

There shall be two different sets of examinations : one for Five years B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and Five years B.A. LL.B., and the second shall be for Three years LL.B. course. The questions shall have a standard expected from Graduate level students (for Three Years LL.B.) and 10+2 level students (for Five Years B.A. LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)

Note: There shall be negative marking in the evaluation of objective type questions i.e. marks will be deducted for wrong answers. For each wrong answer, one (1) mark will be deducted.
