A candidate should have secured a LL.B degree or its equivalent from a recognized University, having obtained not less than 50% (45% in case of SC/ST of U.P.) marks in the aggregate. Candidates in the final year of their LL.B. course can also apply but their admission would be confirmed only after they submit LL.B. results with the required 50% marks in aggregate.
The intake capacity of LL.M degree program shall be 20 with following breakup:
(a) General Category : 10
(b) OBC of U.P : 05

(c) Scheduled Caste of U.P: 04 (d) Scheduled Tr be of U.P: 01 Horizontal Reservation: to the physically challenged persons shall also be admissible as per U.P. State Govt. rules. a) RMLNLU Offline: Printed application forms for CLAT along with the brochure are available at the designated branches of the Corporation Bank and State Bank of India against the payment of Rs. 2,000/- only. State Bank of India, Hazaratganj, Lucknow and Corporation Bank, Kaiserbagh, Lucknow are the only two designated branches in the U.P. For other States details may be seen on www.clat.ac.in Applications may also be obtained by sending a request to the Convener, CLAT, National Law School of India University, Bangalore - 560 242, with a demand draft for Rs. 2,000/- drawn in favour of the Convener, CLAT, and payable at Bangalore. b) RMLNLU On line: For online submission of applications, visit www.clat.ac.in. The completed and printed Online CLAT application form should be sent to the Convener, CLAT at the above address along with DD for Rs.2,000/- drawn in favour of Convener, CLAT, payable at Bangalore.
