Applications for admission to the following government Law Colleges will be issued from 01.06.2009

• Government Law College, Tirunelveli 627 011
• Government Law College, Chengalpet-603 001

(i) Candidates can get the application form for Admission by submitting a requisition along with a demand draft for a sum of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) drawn on or after 01.06.2009 on any of the Nationalised Banks, in favour of "The Registrar", The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, payable at Chennai. This fee is inclusive of Rs.25/- towards cost of Application Form and Rs.375/- towards Registration and Processing Charges.

(ii) Candidates who intend to receive the application form by post shall send the requisition and a demand draft for a sum of Rs.450/- (Rupees Four Hundred and Fifty only) drawn on or after 01.06.2009, on any of the Nationalised Banks, in favour of "The Registrar", The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, payable at Chennai.

(iii) For candidates belonging to SC/ST Communities, the application fee is NIL. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Communities are required to pay only the Registration and Processing Fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only). Candidate who intends to receive the application in person shall produce a xerox copy of recent Community Certificate and has to pay a sum Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) as Registration and Processing Fee. Candidates who intend to receive the application form by post shall send the requisition letter and a demand draft for a sum of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) and shall send a Xerox copy of recent Community Certificate. The Demand Draft must be drawn on or after 01.06.2009, on any of the Nationalised Banks, in favour of "The Registrar", The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, payable at Chennai.

Submission of filled Application form:

(i) Duly filled in applications for admission along with the enclosures, addressed only to "THE CHAIRMAN - 5 year B.L. ADMISSIONS", The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, "Poompozhil", 5, Dr.D.G.S. Dhinakaran Salai, Chennai-600 028 should be submitted by the candidates either in person or by post to:

(ii) Application forms will not be received after the last date prescribed for submission. Any postal delay will not be taken into account. If candidates choose to send their filled application forms by post, they are advised to send them well in advance.

Note: Along with the application form, one empty window cover is provided. The candidates have to affix postage stamp worth Rs.5/- on the cover and send it along with the application without fail. Address should not be written on the cover.

(iii) Application form for SC/ST candidates: The application forms issued for the SC/ST candidates should be used only by the SC/ ST candidates, if it is used by candidates belonging to other communities, such applications will be summarily rejected.

(iv) Availing fee concessions for the application form in case of SC/ST candidates: SC/ST candidates should enclose a xerox copy of the community certificate along with the requisition in order to avail the fee concession for application form.
