CMAT Exam Pattern 2021 :

  • Number of sections  – 4 (Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness)
  • Mode of examination  –  Online
  • Duration of exam – 180 minutes +  30 minutes for optional paper
  • Number of Shifts  – 2  (9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM)
  • Number of questions  – 100 + 25
  • Total Marks  – 400 + 100
  • Number of answer choices  – 4
  • CMAT Marking scheme   –  +4 marks for correct answer -1 mark for incorrect answer
  • Language of paper –  English

CMAT 2021 Exam Pattern: Key Points

  • The NTA has introduced CMAT Testing Centres for CMAT aspirants to visit and take mock tests to familiarize themselves with the actual exam environment
  • Since, CMAT exam is a computer based test, the candidates are not required to carry any stationary item on the exam day
  • Each candidate will be provided with rough paper and pen/pencil inside the exam hall for rough work
  • Before leaving the exam hall, the candidate must leave the paper used for rough work at the desk

 

Syllabus:

The syllabus for the exam will be as per prescribed by AICTE.
