IIT Indore IPM Eligibility Criteria
Candidates satisfying the following criteria are eligible to apply for the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management of IIM Indore.
- General and NC- OBC Category: Minimum 60% in standard X / SSC and standard XII / HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2016.
- SC, ST and PWD ( DA ) Category : Minimum 55% in standard X / SSC and standard XII / HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 22 years of age as on July 31, 2016.
- Mathematics compulsory in standard XII / HSC or equivalent examinations for all applicants.
Note 1 : Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII / HSC or equivalent by the end of 30th June, 2016 can also apply, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria as mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally. At the time of registration for the programme, such candidate must have to produce X and XII standard marksheet ( securing minimum marks i.e. 60% for General and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST and DA ) along with school leaving certificate / migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
Note 2 : The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet / grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grades points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board / Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.
Note 3 : Applicants pursuing their X and / or XII standard from international schools affiliated to foreign board’s like IGCSE ( International General Certificate for Secondary Education ) and IB ( International Baccalaureate ) can also apply.
Note 4 : IIM Indore reserves the right to decide the eligibility conditions in terms of equivalence, percentage marks, and the recognition of the qualifying examination, intake etc.
IIM Indore IPM Selection Procedure 2016
The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in Aptitude Test and Personal Interview. Any candidate fail to appear in either Aptitude Test or Personal Interview or both shall not be considered further during the selection process. The selection process is as follows :
Stage 1 : The candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online.
Stage 2: Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test ( AT ).
Stage 3 : In this stage, the eligible pool for Stage-4 ( i.e. shortlisting of Personal Interview ) is created considering only the candidates having positive raw scores in both the sections of Aptitude Test. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are rejected at this stage.
Stage 4 : Sufficient number of candidates for Personal Interview ( PI ) for each category ( General, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD / DA ) will be shortlisted from the eligible pool using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score ( ATS ).
Shortlisted candidates shall appear for Personal Interview at any of the eight centers i.e. Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata and Mumbai. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for Personal Interview ( PI ). IIM Indore also expects a consistent and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview ( PI ), which will be decided by Admissions Committee. Candidates not meeting the minimum performance in any of PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of selection process i.e. Stage-5.
Stage 5 : The candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in earlier stages will only be considered for the final selection. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.
No intimation will be sent to candidates who are not selected for final offer.

IIM Indore IPM Exam Centers 2016
IIM Indore IPM Aptitude Test ( AT ) to be conducted across 28 cities in the country i.e. Agra, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Ernakulum, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, NOIDA, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam. However, IIM Indore reserves the right to change the centers at any time if the situation so warrants. The date of conducting AT is Friday 13th May, 2016.
IIT Indore IPM Exam pattern 2016
The pattern of AT will be as follows :
- AT will be of objective type nature. The sample questions from previous year question paper will be uploaded on the website of IIM Indore ( www.iimidr.ac.in ).
- There will be two sections in AT namely Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability.
- There will be 100 questions in total with time duration of two hours.
- Each question will carry 4 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.
IIT Indore IPM Reservations 2016
As per Government of India reservation norms, 15% per cent and 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for scheduled caste ( SC ) and scheduled tribe ( ST ) candidates respectively meeting IIMI’s admission requirements; 27% seats are reserved for non- creamy layer – other backward classes ( NC-OBC ) candidates meeting IIMI’s admission requirements. In addition, 3% seats are reserved for persons with disabilities ( as per the provisions of Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995 ) meeting IIMI’s admission requirements. The three categories of disabilities are: (a) low-vision / blindness, b) hearing impairment, and c) locomotor disability / cerebral palsy. This provision is applicable if the candidate suffers from any of the listed disabilities to the extent of not less than 40% as certified by medical authority and as prescribed and explained in the said Act.
The proposed intake is limited to 121 candidates and Government of India reservation norms will be followed for admission.
IIM Indore IPM Application Procedure 2016
Eligible candidates should submit their application online through www.iimidr.ac.in during the period Wednesday, 16th March, 2016 to Saturday, 16th April , 2016 and pay the online non‐refundable / non-transferable application fee of 1400 ( Rupees Fourteen Hundred only for General and NC-OBC category ) / 700 ( Rupees Seven Hundred only for SC, ST and PWD ( DA ) category ).
