Master of Management Studies (Full Time)

Eligibility for MMS:

Passed with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of backward class candidates from Maharashtra only) in any Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. (OR)

Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.

All candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria have to undergo a 3-tier selection procedure consisting of a Common Entrance Test (CET), a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI).

This test is then followed by a GD and PI which carry a significant role in the entire selection process. Please note that the entire admission process for the MMS course has been taken over by The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, 3 Mahapalika Marg, Mumbai - 400 001, from the academic year 1996-1997.

• Marketing Management (MMM)
• Financial Management (MFM)
• Human Resources Development Management (MHRDM)
• Information Management (MIM)

Eligibility Criteria for MHRDM, MMM, MFM, MIM: Passed a Bachelor’s degree examination in any faculty of Mumbai University or an examination recognized by the University as equivalent

Passed the Graduate Examination in Industrial Engineering. Mumbai and who have subsequently qualified in the GATE examination conducted by Government of India through I.I.T. will be considered eligible for admission to the Part time degree courses. and acquired a minimum of two years work experience (Supervisory / Executive)

All candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria have to appear for a Common Written Test (CWT), followed by a Group Discussion (GD).

Important Dates:

Written Test: 6th January, 2008 at 10.00 a.m.

Group Discussion will be held on: 12th January, 2008 (MIM / MFM)
13th January, 2008 (MMM / MHRDM)

Last date for receipt of application: 26th December 2007

Forms and prospectus are available on payment(inclusive of admission test fees) of Rs. 950/- (non-refundable) from 27th November, 2007 to 26th December, 2007 between 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on working days (except on Sunday, Second and Fourth Mondays and Public Holidays). No postal request will be entertained.
