Joint Management Entrance Test ( JMET ) stands discontinued. Admission to the Post Graduate Management Degree Programmes ( MBA / M.Mgmt ) for 2012 – 2014 in six IITs ( Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee ) and IISc ( Bengaluru ) will be based on CAT 2011 score in place of JMET score. Further details regarding eligible educational qualifications and other criteria will be available in the website of, IIT Bombay.

Joint Management Entrance Test ( JMET ) is the first step in the process of seeking admission to the 2 – Year full time Post Graduate Degree Programs in Management offered by the IITs & IISc. Currently IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee are offering such Programs in Management. The IITs and IISc use the results of JMET to short – list the candidates for subsequent part of the selection process.
