Eligibility for Indian School of Mines University Entrance Exam 2008 A Bachelor's degree after (10+2) in any discipline from a recognized institution, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate (45% marks or equivalent CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/ST or persons with Disability Category). For Honours graduates the aggregate will include marks of both Honours and Pass Papers. Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification examination can also apply, provided on their selection to the program, they submit their mark sheets and certificates latest by December 31, 2008. Selection Process of ISMU, Dhanbad Applicant shall have to appear Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on November 18, 2007. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT score will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection. The sanctioned strength for the MBA Program is 40 and the reservation policy of Government of India meant for higher educational institutions is strictly adhered to. A selected candidate who fails to take admission by the last date may loose his/her claim. On the last date of admission, after 12 Noon, the seats may be offered on merit basis to wait listed candidates. ISMU Application Form 1. Request for ISM application form and brochure should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only)drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines and payable at Dhanbad with two self addressed stickers and should be addressed to the Assistant Registrar (Academic) Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad. The candidates may also download the application form from our website: http://www.ismdhnbad.ac.in and submit the filled-in forms enclosing the Demand draft of Rs. 1,000. Important Dates
