XIMB 2010 Selection Process

Candidates short-listed on the basis of written test (IRMA Test or XAT) scores will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the written test, the Group Discussion & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.

3. Postgraduate Diploma in Management, 2010-13, for working executives. (PGDM-PT)

Eligible candidates will be called for Personal Interview session at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai.

Screening for interviews will be based on a candidate's past academic performance and relevant work experience.Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses.

Programme Design:

This three-year part-time programme is designed for executives, working anywhere anywhere in the country. The curriculum is similar to our two-year full-time PGDM programme. The participants will reside in the campus for 15 days at a stretch, thrice a year (45 days in a year).

In the intervening period, they are expected to complete the assigned readings and projects.

4. Doctoral Level Fellow Programme in Management. (FPM)

The applicant must write any one of the following written tests: CAT, UGC NET, XAT, or the XIMB Research Aptitude Test (XIMB-RAT). XIMB-RAT will be conducted only at Bhubaneswar, at 3:00 pm on 02 January 2010. Based on their performance in the written test as well as their academic and professional achievements, a selected group of applicants will be invited to our campus at Bhubaneswar for an assessment of their research aptitude and preparedness for taking up doctoral-level work in management.

All the invited applicants will be offered local hospitality, but no travel allowance.
