BVP MBA MCA CET 2017

Bharti Vidyapeeth University conducts an entrance examination for admission to MBA & MCA courses in various institutes under Bharti Vidyapeeth University, for academic session in every year. Applications are invited for All India Entrance Tests for Admission to Management Courses generally approved or compelling recognition by UGC and AICTE, New Delhi. Students will be admitted to MBA & MCA Courses of Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development, Pune on the basis of the merit obtained by them in the All India Common Entrance Test ( CET ).

Bharati Vidyapeeth University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to the following MBA MCA Programs through Bharati Vidyapeeth University Common Entrance Test for the academic session 2017 – 2018.

BVP MBA 2017 Programs

  • MBA – Master of Business Administration
  • MBA ( HR ) – Master of Business Administration in Human Resource
  • MBA ( FM ) – Master of Financial Markets

BVP MBA 2017 Eligibility Criteria

A graduate with bachelor or Masters Degree from any discipline who has passed with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate ( 45 % in case of SC / ST candidates ) from a recognized University. ( or )

The candidates in the final year Degree ( Bachelors or Masters ) are also eligible to apply. The admission of student, will remain provisional until the other necessary certificates in original, are submitted to the institute. The last date to submit all the certificates in original shall be 25th August, 2017. If the certificates are not submitted by the said date or the eligibility will not be granted to the BVP MBA 2017 Admission would automatically stand cancelled. 

The candidate should be an Indian National.

Note : The term aggregate marks used here shall mean the grand total marks obtained by the candidate, taken together for all the subjects, based on which the class declaration is made in that particular University from where the candidate has obtained degree. The candidate should have completed minimum of 15 years of formal education ( 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis ).

The candidates who have pursued their graduation in any medium other than English will have to complete an orientation course in English provided by Institutes satisfactorily. The candidate who has done his graduation on part time or one time seating basis or on a two year basis are not eligible.

BVP MCA 2017 Programs

The Bharati Vidyapeeth 2017 MCA program is minimum of 150 credits and is of three year duration divided in to six terms of 19 weeks each. The 19 weeks consists of 15 weeks of teaching, two weeks of preparation for examinations, and two weeks of examination days.

BVP MCA 2017 Eligibility

1. MCA (Three Years Full Time)

Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration with Mathematics as a course at 10 + 2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% ( 45% in case of SC / ST category ) at the qualifying Examination.

2. MCA Second year Lateral Entry

Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration in BCA, BCS, B. Sc ( IT / Computer Science ) with Mathematics as a course at 10 +2 level or at Graduate Level. Obtained at least 50% ( 45% in case of SC / ST category ) at the qualifying Examination. These Candidates are also eligible for MCA ( Three years full time program. )

Admission Process for MCA

  • B-CAT 2017 is meant for admission to MCA 3 year full time and MCA 2 year Lateral Entry
  • B-CAT examination of BVDU is compulsory for all which is schedule on 26th March 2017
  • The admissions are strictly done on the basis of merit and seats available at the center
  • The Admission to direct second year MCA is 20% of the intake and availability of vacancies of seats from 1st year
  • Subject to the above conditions, the final admission will be offered based solely on the merit obtained at the all India entrance test (B-CAT)-2017 conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune.

Candidates who are presently studying in the final year of Bachelor’s degree course can also appear for the entrance test and seek admission for MCA program in the year 2017 – 18. However, They are eligible for admission only if :

  • The examination of all semesters / years ( regular as well as backlog) will be completed by 30th June 2017
  • the results of all semesters will be completed by 31st July 2017, and
  • the basic qualification mentioned in 2(I) above are full filled.
  • The last date to submit all the certificates in original shall be 29th September, 2017 . If the certificates are not submitted by the said date, the eligibility will not be granted and the admission would automatically stand cancelled.

3. The candidate should be an Indian national.

BVP MBA 2017 Online Application Form

The application form is available online at https://www.bharatividyapeethuniversity.net or http://bvuniversity.edu.in

The candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the website while filling up the application form online, and must read the instructions carefully before filling up the online application form. Instructions are mentioned at  ‘Registration Guide’ menu which is available on website. Before filling up the application form online, candidates should:

  • Create their login credential
  • Have a scanned image of their recent passport size photograph ( Refer to guidelines mentioned on the website )
  • Have a scanned image of their signature, ready before filling up the online application form.
  • Read the procedure and guidelines for online payments of test fee which is to be made through Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking. ( Refer to guidelines, terms and conditions for using online payment mentioned on the website )

The candidate may then proceed to fill the form and submit the completed application form. The candidate should take a print of payment receipt and completed application form for reference and as a record. Candidates should submit the completed online application form on or before the last date mentioned in the website.

The entrance test fee may be paid in cash or through bank draft on any nationalized Bank or any branch of Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd. drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune ”, payable at Pune.

A candidate desirous of appearing for the BMAT-2017 entrance test is required to complete the prescribed application form and submit to the University along with entrance test fee of Rupee. 1,700/- ( Entrance test fee is non-refundable )

BVP MBA 2017 Admit Card 

Admission cards for B-MAT 2017 test will be dispatched by post to the candidates under the certificate of posting. The admission card will indicate roll number and test center allotted to the candidate with its address

The Bharati Vidyapeeth University CET Admit Card is also available on http://www.bvuniversity.edu.in.

The candidate must not mutilate this admission card or change any entry, made therein, after it has been authenticated by authorities.

In case the admission card is not received by the candidate, by 21st March 2017 he/she should contact at the office of concerned designated center or CET Office, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, 2nd Floor, Common Entrance Test Cell Department, L.B.S. Marg, Pune-411030. one day prior to test during working hours for collecting duplicate admission cards. In such a situation candidate should bring two copies of the same photographs along with him/her and a proof of submission / mailing of the application form ( as submitted with the application form ).

In case no proof is submitted, duplicate admission card will not be issued. Mere possession of application form will not be considered as a proof of sending the completed application form.

BVP MBA 2017 Exam Pattern

The Entrance Test B-MAT 2017 for admission to MBA Programme will be of 250 marks. It will consists of (A) Written Test and (B) Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The written test will be conducted from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm, for a duration of two and half hours. The GD and PI will be held at the designated centres as per schedule mentioned in this brochure. The candidates have to be present at the centre of the examination at 9:30 a.m.,positively

The written test comprises of 200 marks. It will be of 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each with four alternatives, with single correct or most probable answer. There is no negative marking. The break-up of marks will be as follows.

Instructions regarding Test booklet and Answer sheet : ( Written Test )

During the written test, candidates will be provided with a sealed test booklet and an answer sheet. Candidates have to fill the information regarding name, roll no, centre code and center of examination on the test booklet without opening the seal of the test booklet. The test booklet consist of 200 questions each with four alternatives. Candidates are advised not to open/ break the seal of the booklet before they are instructed to do so.

The candidates have to fill in information using a ball point pen neatly and accurately on the front side of the answer sheet and follow all instructions given. Candidates must ensure that they fill in their names, roll no, test form no and center, correctly on side 1 (front side) of the answer sheet. The answer sheet must be signed by the candidate and the invigilator. If any of the above information is missing, the answer sheet will be treated as incomplete and will not be processed further. The candidates have to mark only one option for each question on side 2 (back side) of the answer sheet. Candidates must not fold and should not make any stray marks on the answer sheet.

The test booklet and answer sheet must be submitted to the invigilator in the stipulated time of the entrance test. If the test booklet and answer sheet is not submitted to the invigilator, the candidate will be treated as absent for the entrance test.

Note : *Admission are subject to availability of seats. BVP MBA CET 2017 Counselling will begin at 10.00 AM at all centres.

The candidate must report for BVP counselling at 10.00 AM only, on the date of the counselling at the respective centers.

Failure to report for BVP MBA 2017 Counselling on the scheduled date and time will result in instantaneous cancellation of a claim of the candidate to the seat.

The candidate must note that appearance for the examination and inclusion of name in the merit list does not necessarily mean that he/she will get admission to the institute & course. The admission will depend upon the availability of seats to the particular programme and institute at the time of his counselling.

It shall be candidates responsibility to see the result B-MAT 2017 and confirm their merit no. The candidate should remain present for counselling as per the schedule.

Individual counselling letters are not going to be sent. The candidate should attend counselling & spot admissions on their own as per the schedule given. The candidate should bring along with them proof of appearing for the B-MAT 2017 Test such as Admit Card & or photo copy of application form / D.D. etc.

The candidate will be offered a seat in the Institute of their choice and course as per the combined merit lists prepared by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune for all the institutes and all the courses. The candidate will be called for counselling as per their merit number and will be offered a seat as per availability of the seat in the particular Institute and particular course. 

The following certificates in original along with self attested two copies each of the same are to be submitted at the time of counseling and spot admission.

  • Statement of marks ( Last qualifying examination )
  • Passing/Degree certificate ( Last qualifying examination )
  • Migration certificate from the University from which the candidate has passed the last examination. ( other than Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University ).
  • Transference /Leaving Certificate from the College last attended.
  • Character Certificate from Principal of the College last attended.
  • Affidavit regarding Gap in education on Rs 100/ -stamp paper if applicable
  • Caste Certificate ( in case of SC / ST Candidates )
