Common Entrance Test for MCA Admission (2008-09)

Applications invited for admission to Master's Degree Programme in Computer Applications (MCA)

Applications on the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission to three years Master's Degree Programme in Computer Applications (MCA) for the Session 2008-09 in the University of Jammu (PG Dept. of Computer Science & IT, Bhadarwah Campus, Bhadarwah, Ramnagar Center and affiliated colleges) through a common entrance test which shall be conducted at Jammu and at Rajouri simultaneously.

The application forms can be obtained from the PG Department of Computer Science, Govt. Degree College, Rajouri, Bhadarwah Campus, Bhadarwah on payment of Rs.700.00 through Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Head, Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu payable at Jammu or can be downloaded from Jammu University Website: www.jammuuniversity.in

The downloaded form can be submitted to the Head, Dept. of Computer Science & IT along with the required bank draft till the last date. Outstation candidates can send their requests for forms by post to the Head, PG Department of Computer Science & IT, University of Jammu, Jammu-180006 along-with the required bank draft and self addressed envelope of the size 19x27 cms. duly affixed with the stamps for Rs. 50.00. More details can be obtained from the University website www.jammuuniversity.in.

Eligibiliy: A Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline or Graduation in any professional course of more than three years duration or any other qualification recognized by the University as equivalent thereto with 50% of the aggregate marks (40% for Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Castes).

• Last date for purchase of Information Brochure by post : 25th June, 2008
• Last date for purchase (by hand) and submission of Forms without late fee : 28th June, 2008
• Last date for purchase and submission by hand with a late fee : 2nd July, 2008 of Rs.100.00
