Date of Entrance Exam: 23rd August, 2009.
2. Qualifications:
(a) Nativity: Candidate should be an Indian National.
b) Academic: A pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level, OR a pass in any recognized regular Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects, OR A pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University.
Note: Candidates who are appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the original mark list of all parts the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of allotment.
3. Reservation of Seats:
(a) Reservation for Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 3% percent seats in every Government and Aided Colleges are reserved for persons with disabilities and Orthopaedically Handicapped candidates.
(b) Mandatory reservation: Seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes as per the existing reservation principles of the Government.
4. Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on 23.08.2009 (Sunday).
It will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective Type Questions covering the following areas of study at graduate level.
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- General Knowledge
- General English
- Fundamentals of Computer Awareness
5. Kerala MCA Entrance 2009 Application Form: Prospectus and application form will be available from 13-07-2009 in the website http://www.cee-kerala.org.
Candidates can apply in the online application form provided in the website http://www.cee-kerala.org of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any SBT branch by using the chalan available in the print out of the online application form, candidates residing outside Kerala state can remit the application fee by way of demand draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of the Commissioner for entrance examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee for General/SEBC candidates Rs.800/- and for SC/ST candidates Rs.400/-. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded at any circumstances.
6. Last date and time for receipt of filled-in application forms: Candidates seeking admission should take the printout of the application after entering the details online, and forward the application with all the required documents to the following address, either by Registered post or by hand delivery on or before 5 pm on 31.07.2009 (Friday).

7. Belated, incomplete and defective applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard.
8. Institution wise Allotment: The Institution wise allotment will be made by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in accordance with the rank obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination and the order of preference of Institutions given by the candidates at the time of Online Seat Allotment. Candidates need not submit their preference for Institutions in the application form.
9. Candidates will neither be allowed to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances.
10. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the body of the application form itself, wherever specified. The certificates that are attached separately in the application form will not be considered under any circumstances.
11. Applicants must go through the various provisions related to Entrance Examination, course eligibility, distribution of seats, reservation etc given in Prospectus for 2009, approved by the Government and available in the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at http://www.cee-kerala.org, before submitting the application form.
