Banaras Hindu University 2007 Exam(BHU 2007) Banaras Hindu University BHU 2007 Exam: The Banaras Hindu University will hold All India Competitive Written Test for admission to MBBS course in two stages. First stage (PMT- SCREENING-2007) to screen candidates for eligibility to take PMT- MAIN-2007 Banaras Hindu University BHU 2007 Admission details: BHU 2007 Date of Forms and Place of Purchase: Prescribed Application Form along with the Information Booklet of PMT-2007 can be obtained : By Cash: on payment of Rs. 800/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates) from January, 2007 to February, 2007 from the following branches of Bank of Baroda. |

By Post : From the Office of the Director (PMT-Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005 by sending a written request through Registered Post along with Crossed Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque of Rs. 860/- (Rs. 560/- for SC/ST Candidates) of a Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of "The Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU" payable at Varanasi. Application material will be sent by Speed / Registered Post, however Institute will not be responsible for any loss or postal delay. The request for application must include the name and address of the candidate, and full particulars of the enclosed DD/BC. Two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm 6 cm size MUST also accompany it. The envelope containing requisition for PMT application form and demand draft should be superscribed "Request for Application for PMT-2007, BHU". Last date for requisition for PMT form by post is mid February 2007. Incomplete/ non-cashable Draft (under amount/unsigned/ without Bank Code No. & Seal) shall not be accepted for sending the Application Form. NOTE: (a) Separate Bank Draft will be required for each application form. (b) M.O./I.P.O./ Cheques shall NOT be accepted under any circumstances. Application forms from the Office of "The Director (PMT-Cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, can be obtained by POST only and not in person. In case forms are not available at Bank of Baroda the same can be obtained by post from Director's Office upto mid February 2007. Banaras Hindu University BHU 2007 Exams Important Dates : Last date: Application forms duly completed must be sent through Registered Post, so as to reach “The Director (PMT Cell), Institute Of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005” latest by start of March 2007. BHU 2007 Exam Date: PMT- SCREENING-2007, mid May 2007. PMT- MAIN-2007: Mid June 2007 at Varanasi Centre only. BHU Syllabus:The exam includes all the syllabus upto 12th Std (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Eligibility for BHU 2007: Qualifications - Passed Intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply. Foreign Nationals are not eligible to appear in the PMT examination for MBBS Course. They may seek admission through respective Ministries of Govt. of India, New Delhi, as per the rules laid down for the purpose and their nomination must reach by 15th July 2006. AGE : Completed 17 years but have not crossed 25 years as on 31st December 2006 (Candidates born on or after 1st January 1990 and on or before 31st December 1981 need not apply). BHU 2007 Test Centres: First stage (PMT- SCREENING-2007) shall be held on Wednesday May 2007 at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad Centres, to screen candidates for eligibility to take PMT- MAIN-2007 to be held on June 2007 at Varanasi Centre only. Admission Notice For BAMS Course-2006: Date of Forms and Place of Purchase: Application form along with the Information Brochure can be obtained by post from the Office of the Director, IMS, BHU, Varanasi - 221005 by sending a written request through Registered Post along with a demand draft of Rs. 700/- (Rs. 450/- for SC/ST Candidates) drawn in favour of the Director, IMS, BHU, payable at Varanasi along with two self addressed white paper slips of 6 cm x 10 cm in size. Moneyorder and cheque will not be accepted. The envelop should be clearly superscribed "Application for B.A.M.S. Entrance Test - 2006, BHU". The request for application form by post must reach on or before March 2007 The application form can also be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 650/- (Rs. 400/- for SC/STcandidates) from the counter of the main Post Office on the BHU Campus (Near Kendriya Vidyalaya, BHU) from start of February till first week of April 2007. The last date for submission of completed application – first week of April 2007.
