GGSIPU CET MBBS 2013 Exam Date
All the candidates who are keen to seek admission to MBBS program at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi for the Academic Session ( 2013 – 14 ) must appear in the Common Entrance Test : CET Code 103 [ CET : MBBS 2013 ], which will be conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector – 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110 075.

There will be two stages of the Common Entrance Test. Only qualified candidates of Stage I will be allowed to appear in Stage II Entrance Test of MBBS. The dates & time are as under :
GGSIPU CET : MBBS 2013 ( Stage I ) is proposed to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Jallandhar, Kolkata, Lucknow & Dehradun. However, depending upon the number of candidates at any station, the final venue of the CET : MBBS 2013 ( Stage I ) will be communicated to the candidates through Admit Cards. MBBS ( Stage II ) test will be held only at Delhi. In case of any query, candidate may contact on 011 – 25302287.
Duration of the GGSIPU CET MBBS 2013 Courses :
The course of studies leading to the award of degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery ( MBBS ) shall be minimum of 4½ years followed by one year compulsory rotatory Internship.

Last year’s ( 2012 – 13 ) Region – wise and Category – wise allocation of seats in Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, which has been set up on ‘All India Pattern’, is given below. However, there may be changes depending upon the directions of the Govt. of India, which shall be notifi ed on the University website : www.ipu.ac.in before start of GGSIPU MBBS counselling / admissions.

GGSIPU MBBS Eligibility 2013
GGSIPU CET MBBS 2013 Eligibility
1. Nationality
Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Non-Resident Indians ( NRIs ) are not eligible.
2. Age
Candidate should not be less than 17 ( Seventeen ) years as on the 31st December, 2013.
3. Essential Qualifications
Candidate should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme / Senior School Certifi cate Examination or Intermediate Science ( I.Sc. ) or an equivalent examination of the recognised University / Board of any Indian State with PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY and ENGLISH ( Core or Elective or Functional ).
4. Minimum Aggregate
Notes :
(a) All those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English ( Core or Elective or Functional ) and expect to pass the examination with required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the CET : MBBS & BDS 2013. However, their candidature will be considered only if they are able to produce documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks at the time of counselling for admission.
(b) It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they posses the requisite eligibility and qualifications for admission. Appearing for the written examination does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility.
(d) The cases of candidates who have qualified CET 2013, but have Compartment / Supplementary in any paper of the qualifying examination degree at any stages, will be considered by the Admission Officer as per University policy and accordingly he shall take final decision regarding grant of admission to such candidates during academic session ( 2013 – 14 ) as per University policy given below :
- Compartment / Supplementary cases at any stage who have appeared for examination ( s ) and the result of the same is / are not declared by the time of counselling / admission,such candidates will not be considered for admission for the academic session ( 2013 – 14 ).
- In case the result of the Compartment / Supplementary examination ( s ) is / are declared by the time of admission / counselling and the candidate fulfills the eligibility conditions as mentioned above, then such candidates would be eligible for the admission for the academic session ( 2013 – 14 ).
