HIHT University invites application from eligible candidates for admission into MBBS course offered by Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences for the academic year ( 2013 – 2014 ). Total seats 100 out of which 30% seats are earmarked exclusively for the domiciled candidates of Uttarakhand. Total available seats may increase to 150 subject to approval by the MCI, in which case, 25 seats will be filled by the state government.

HIHT PMEE 2013 Eligibility
1. Age : Only those candidates, whose date of birth falls on or before 31st December, 1996 ( minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2013 ) are eligible to apply. The upper age limit shall be 25 years as on 31/12/2013. 
2. Minimum Qualification :
The candidate must have passed the 10+2 i.e. C.B.S.E. / I.S.C / Intermediate board examination or its equivalent, after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of such study, comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English from a recognized Board and must have obtained a minimum of 60% ( for SC / ST / OBC candidates 50% ) marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together and at least 50% ( for SC / ST / OBC candidates 40% ) marks separately in each of the above subject. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to appear in the PMEE 2013 but such candidates should submit the mark sheet of the qualifying examination on or before 10th June, 2013.

HIHT University Pre Medical Entrance Examination application forms can also be obtained in person by depositing a Demand Draft or in cash a sum of 
1500/- OR by Post by sending a Demand Draft of 1550/- OR in case of NRI / PIO Candidates for US $75 drawn in favour of “HIHT University” payable at State Bank of India, Jolly Grant ( Bank Code No. 10580 ), Dehradun OR from Office of the following address :

HIHT PMEE 2013 Important Dates
- Commencement of Sale of Application Forms : 15th March, 2013.
- Last Date of Sale of Application Forms : 25th April, 2013.
- Last date for submission of Completed Applications : 30th April, 2013.
- Date of Entrance Examination : 31st May, 2013 (10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.)
Note :
1. Declaration of results and admission process shall be subject to final judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
2. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delays or loss in transit.
3. Be it known that all the admissions are done purely on merit basis based on Entrance Examination. It is also notified that HIHT University has never authorized/solicited any person or any agent for admissions in any of the coiurses offered by the University. Hence, public is cautioned to be aware of unscrupulous person(s)/agents/advertisements. None of the Authority ( ies ) will be responsible if students of their wards are cheated on this account.
4. Ragging is totally banned/prohibited in the University and anyone found guilty of ragging and / or abetting raggin is liable to be punished appropriately.
