Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test 2008 (UPCMET 2008)

UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association is conducting 3rd (from 2006) UP Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET)-2008 for admission to MBBS 1st year for Academic year 2008-09 in Unaided Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

Date of Entrance Test: 31 May 2OO8 (Saturday)

Eligibility Criteria for UPCMET 2008

Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 level examination of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University with English as a subject; securing minimum 50%(40% in case of SC / ST / OBC) marks on average in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (including practical examination) taken together.

• Candidates appearing in 10+2 examination of 2008 are also eligible to appear in entrance test but at the time of counseling they have to produce the passing mark sheet of 10+2 examination, failing which no allotment of seats will be made.

Age Limit:

To Appear in the Entrance Examination candidate should have completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December, 2008 (Candidates born after 1st January, 1992 and on or before 31st December, 1983 need not apply).

Nationality: Admission is open to all citizens of India.
