Coimbatore: Alagappa University has introduced two under-graduate and one postgraduate courses this academic year (2007-08).

The two UG courses are B.Sc Computer Science and B.Sc Information Technology and the PG programme is M.Sc.

Computer Science, a release from the varsity said adding that the admission is going on at its centre here at Gandhipuram.

Students who have completed diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Technology, Communication Engineering, Computer Applications could get direct second year admission in the abpve new courses.

Alagappa University Eligibility for the above courses are either completion of Plus 2 or any diploma. For the PG course in Computer Science, the candidates should have passed either a relevant UG, course or any other degree with Plus 2 level Maths.

Those who had completed relevant diplomas could get direct second year admission in B.Com, BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and B.Com (CA) Moreover, the candidates could get direct second year admission in MCA had they completed PG Diploma in Computer Applications through Alagappa University. The last date for admission to MBA, MCA and PGDCA is Sept 15, whereas for the other courses the date is extended till September 30.
