"This year, placement has been much beyond our expectations. We could place 1109 students, which is 92 percent of all available students in topnotch companies. And that too one month before the commencement of their seventh semester engineering classes. With more companies like Caterpillar, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and Tata Elxsi in the pipeline, we are expecting 100 percent /placement by the end of this month. This time, we are also offering our students a dream option, whereby a student already placed, may be able to attend a few more companies of their choice/' said Professor C Parameswaran, Dean of the Centre for Corporate Relations of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
