Coimbatore: Applications for the written examination to be conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board for post-graduate teachers for the academic year 2006-07, will be issued till August II, at the Office of the Chief Educational Officer (CEO), Raja Street, Coimbatore.

A release said that candidates could obtain the forms during office working hours, on payment of Rs.100, in cash. Completed forms should be handed in at the Office of the CEO or sent by post to reach the Teachers Recruitment Board by 5 p.m. on August 11.

Examination fee is Rs.400 for backward class, most backward class and other candidates; and Rs.200 for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and visually handicapped candidates.

A demand draft on State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank or Canara Bank should be drawn in favour of “Teachers Recruitment Board, Chennai”, payable at Chennai. On the back of the DD, the applicant should legibly write his or her name, application number and subject in which he or she wanted to write the examinations.
