Bharathiar University extends last dates for various courses

Coimbatore: The last date for admission to various courses including M. Phil Programme offered by the School of Distance Education of the Bharathiar University for the academic year 2006-07 has been extended to December 29.

According to the university release, application forms can be obtained either in person or by post from the university and from the study centres. Applications can be downloaded from the university’s website www.b-u.ac.in . Spot admission would also be held in the university and in other study centres.

Admission

Admission to the two-year MBA and three-year MCA courses for the next academic year is on. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility norms could seek admission directly without taking the entrance test.

Personal contact programmes for the theory classes of the first year MBA and MCA are scheduled to be held at the university premises on December 16 and 17.

Also classes for the PG Diploma in Yoga Education, International Business and PGDCA would be held at the university premises.

Classes

First year M.Sc. (Bio-informatics) and computer science and PG Diploma in bio-informatics classes would be held at the Karpagam Arts and Science College.

First year M.Sc. (Physics) Classes would be held at the PSG College of Arts and Science.
