Chirala Engineeing College to link with National College of Ireland

As part of blended and extended learning, Chirala Engineering College, Chirala has agreed to enter a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and National College of Ireland, Dublin for Transfer of students and faculty.

A team from Dublin – based National College of Ireland visited Chirala on Thursday to work out the academic tie – up, a release from Chirala Engineering College said on Friday.

When the MOU is put into implementation, the students of Chirala Engineering College will have their four years Engineering Education as two years in India and two years in Ireland.

Nicola Carroll – Head of the International Office, Pramod Pathak – Dean, faculty of computing from National College of Ireland and T. Ashok Kumar Managing Director, C. V. Brahmachary Director from Chirala Engineering College participated in the interaction. A. V. Prathap Kumar, Principal and N. Purna Chandra Rao, Training and Placement Officer facilitated the interaction.
