Admissions to Undergraduate Courses in Private, Unaided, Medical Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka for the Academic Year 2007-2008 through COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test and Centralized Counseling. (COMEDK UGET-2007)

Karnataka Private Medical and Dental Colleges Association and Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association have set up ‘COMEDK to conduct a ‘Common Entrance Test’ that would facilitate selection of candidates on merit for admissions to Under Graduate Courses offered by Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges run by its members. COMEDK UGET-2007 Entrance Test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by Centralized Counseling (Single window system) by COMEDK to the seats to be filled up. COMEDK invites applications for taking COMEDK UGET-2007 from eligible candidates intending to apply to member institutions seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS and BE courses for the academic year 2007-2008. Annual tuition fee fixed by Member Institution and details of seats offered through COMEDK UGET-2007 will be made available on our website.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th Std or equivalent exam, Candidates who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply.

For MBBS and BDS: As per the MCI (Medical Council of India) and DCI (Dental Council of India) norms.

For BE: As per the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) norms.

Applications are to be filled online on our website www.comedk.org after obtaining a DD for Rs.600/- for 3 subjects (PCB or PCM) and Rs.800/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB) in favour of COMEDK-2007, payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents asked for, on or before 07/04/2007. Filled applications will not be received in person in the COMEDK office or any member Institution.
