Good Shepherd Group of Institutions (GSGI) will start an international business school in Ooty as part of its multi-crore project.
Disclosing this to pressmen, Dr P C Thomas, chairman of the GSGI, said this expansion project will also have a hotel with 100 rooms, basically to train the students who study hotel management.
In addition to this, an ultra modern convention centre will also be constructed.
A sum of Rs.250 crore has been earmarked for this, he said.
Apart from the aforesaid projects, Rs.100 crore has been allocated for expansion of Good Shepherd International School.
Under this project, various facilities will be put in place including co-curricular buildings, girls' dormitory heated Olympic-size indoor swimming pool, indoor girl's gymnasium, squash courts, auditorium, hospital and water treatment plant.
Thomas said the GSGI has also started its new projects at a cost of Rs.25 crore in Coimbatore. A hi-tech universal printing press will be established, he added.
