Speaking to reporters here today on the sidelines of a seminar hosted by Annamalai University Ray said that the Central Government had decided to colleges in the country.

Doctors in corporate hospitals would not be able to do justice' to their profession if the hospitals start medical colleges.

Patients get admitted into private hospitals with the hope that they would be treated by specialists and not by students, undergoing training, Ray said.

Ray said that the MCI has proposed to introduce uniform policy in regulating medical colleges and research institutions in the country.
