Paavai Engineer College signs MoU with Hewlett Packard (HP) Educational Services

Paavai Engineer College at Paachal in Namakkal district and Hewlett Packard (HP) Educational Services signed an MoU on August 2.

College Chairman N.V. Natarajan in his presidential address pointed out that students should understand the importance, which was attached to the skill-oriented training, which also enhanced the employability at campus interviews.

The Technical Head of HP, Ramesh Padmanabhan, said that continuous learning right through all stages of a career was very important in today's situation. "We are bridging gap that exists between the educational institutions and industry for entry level engineers," he added.

One-day seminar

Muthayammal College of Arts and Science at Rasipuram in Namakkal district organised one-day seminar on Tally Software 9.0, for the benefit of commerce and computer science students.

Mr. G. Pradeep, Territory executive and Mr. C. Sunil, Placement Officer, Tally (India), Madurai and Coimbatore were the resource persons. They pointed out that all taxes such as VAT, TDS and ST would be made simpler with this software. More than 700 students attended the seminar.
