Pakistani Student Joins Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU)

Vadodara, Aug 6: The much-talked about student from the other side of the border reported Tatheer Daryani at the Faculty of Fine Arts of M.S. University (MSU) on Saturday. Tatheer Daryani, the girl who graduated from the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi, has enrolled as a first year student in the Sculptor Department.

This year, the MSU campus is abuzz with foreign students. Apart from those from SAARC countries, the university has students from Iraq, Afghanistan, West Asia and Kenya.

"Although I have no friends here, people here have been helpful and kind. There is not much cultural difference between us. My father accompanied me to India, but he left on Sunday. I am now acquainting myself with the new surroundings" said Daryani.

S.D.Hall Warden Purvi Pokhariya said: "Daryani has been given accommodation on a temporary basis, as she has applied for permanent hostel accommodation. She has been staying here since the last two days."
