REC in association with Computer Society of India-Div II & Chennai Chapter, IEEE Computer Society, Madras Chapter and Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (Kerala) is organising an International Conference on "Web Intelligence Systems ICWIS 2009" between January 8 and 10, 2009 in Chennai.

Exchanging ideas

The principal aim of the conference is to provide a forum to both researchers and industry professionals to explore innovations and exchange ideas and views on latest technological advancements and applications in next generation of web intelligent systems.

The authors are expected to submit unpublished original manuscripts.

The conference has topics in different areas including Internet Technology, Web Mining, Semantic Web, Web Information Systems, Ontology and Knowledge Engineering.

The conference sessions would cover different aspects of web and web empowered systems such as technology, architecture, system design, interface design, implementation, evaluation of performance, security and privacy and other related topics.
