Sainik School conducts All India Entrance Examination on January 04, 2009

The All India Entrance Examination for admission to classes VI and IX of Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, for the academic year 2009-2010, will be held on January 4, 2009.

Boys aged between 10 and 11 as on July 1,2009, for Class VI and boys aged between 13 and 14 as on July 1, 2009, and studying in class VIII in a recognised school are eligible for admission to class IX.

Prospectus

The prospectus and application forms will be available on remittance of Rs.385 for general / defence categories and Rs.285 for SC/ST categories.

The fee is inclusive of registration fee and cost of old question paper and postal charges. A demand draft drawn in favour of the Principal, Sainik School, on State Bank of India, Amaravathinagar, should be sent to Sainik School, Amaravathinagar-642 102, Udumalpet taluk, Coimbatore district. Applicants should enclose a self-addressed envelope (25 cm x 20 cm). They should also indicate the class to which admission is sought and the category (SC / ST / Defence / General).
