Chennai: The last date for issue and submission of application form for admission to the Ph. D programme of Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University for 2006 has been extended to December 20. An official release said the minimum qualifying marks in Master of Law for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates applying for the programme had reduced to 50 per cent from 55 per cent. Judicial officers with not less than five years of regular service and who had attended seminars and presented at least two papers were exempted from the criteria of published works in reputed journals. This exemption was also available to teachers with two years experience in the university or affiliated colleges. However, such teachers should publish at least two papers in pre reviewed or established journals within a year of registering for the Ph. D programme
