University of Mysore introduce Courses in Electronic Media

Coimbatore: The University of Mysore has invited applications from candidates who wish to pursue courses in electronics media.

According to a release from A. Balasubramanian, Director, Educational Multimedia Research Centre, a two-year post-graduate degree (M.Sc.) and a one-year post-graduate diploma course will be offered by the centre.

The courses will follow the semester pattern and will be held at the Manasagangotri campus.

The M.Sc. course will include digital media and instrumentation, cinematography, production planning and management, graphics and animation, multimedia and Internet technologies, e-content development, satellite-based video streaming etc., besides the usual topics.

The eligibility criterion is graduation in any one of the subjects: Journalism, business management, physics, electronics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or visual communication. Twenty seats are allotted for Indians, while four are for foreign students.

Last date for applying is July 31.
