University to Start 13 New MBA Courses

Spot Admission Centre, School of Education City Centre to be opened today

Coimbatore: The Bharathiar University would introduce 13 new MBA courses like marketing and retail management through distance education, said Vice-Chancellor G Thiruvasagam here on Friday.

Briefing reporters on the City Centre and Spot Admission Centre, to be inaugurated in the university on Saturday, he said another new system to be introduced is that there won’t be any entrance exam for MCA and MBA.

As a part of e-learning, online exams will be conducted. To begin with online examination will be conducted for English paper this year, he said.

The 25 percent concession proposed for constables and teachers would be extended to approved press persons after the approval of it by the Syndicate which meets on April 27, Thiruvasagam said.

Rural Industries Minister Pongalur N Palanisamy will inaugurate the School of Education City Centre and Spot Admission Centre on Saturday.
