Admissions Open for Distance Education Courses at Bharathiar University

Spot admission for the academic year 2008-09 is on at the Bharathiar University and its study centres for courses in the distance education mode from May 1.

According to a release from N. Balasubramanian, Director of the School of Distance Education of the university, these courses include undergraduate and post-graduate degree and diploma programmes.

The School is recognised by the Distance Education Council, New Delhi. Admissions can be done either directly at the School of Distance Education or through the study centres located in any part of the country.

The university is offering a 25 per cent fee concession for teachers of approved schools, defence, police and media personnel, persons with disability, and also to its alumni.
